ABOUT US
Clove is a piercing-only studio located in Roanoke, Virginia. We can be found on the Cave Spring side of town in the beautiful Shoppes at West Village plaza just a mile up the road from Tanglewood Mall.
We operate on a walk-in basis and are open every day of the week from 11am-8pm. Our Google is regularly updated and is therefore the best place to check for holiday hours.
We provide a professional, inclusive and sanitary piercing experience for individuals aged 5 and up. Additionally, we are the only piercing studio in Roanoke, VA with APP Members on staff. For more information about what an APP Member is, click here.

Founder & Professional Piercer (he/him)
Atom began his piercing career in 2006. He completed his apprenticeship in Tampa, FL and moved to Roanoke in 2008 where he pierced for the next 9 years. From 2017 to Feb. 2024, he pierced in the NRV between Christiansburg and Blacksburg.
Atom is an APP Member and has attended the Safe Piercing Conference in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Additionally, he has taken the APP’s Core Essentials V3 courses online.
He enjoys custom anodizing and industrial projects where he bends the jewelry to fit a client’s specific anatomy.
His favorite piercing to do is a conch, bridge or eyebrow.

Apprentice Piercer (she/her)
Hailey began her apprenticeship with Atom in April 2025. She is currently learning the fundamentals and has recently began piercing under supervision.
Hailey is not a member of the APP yet but will be in due time! She attended her first Safe Piercing conference in Las Vegas along with the rest of the crew in 2025.

Katelyn has been piercing since 2021. She began her career in Blacksburg, VA where she completed her apprenticeship with Atom. During this time, she worked closely with college students from Virginia Tech and Radford University.
Katelyn is an APP Member and attended the Safe Piercing conference in 2024, 2025 as well as 2026. She has also taken the APP’s Core Essentials V3 courses online.
Her favorite piercing to do is a conch or flat and she loves working with her clients on curations!
She does not perform genital piercings

Nic has been piercing since 2020 where she started and completed her apprenticeship in Manassas, VA. Since then she has traveled between studios in Virginia as well as North Carolina.
Nic is an APP member and has attended the Safe Piercing Conference in 2024, 2025 and 2026. She has also attended other in-person seminars as well as completed the APP’s Core Essentials V4 online course.

AFTERCARE
We recommend healing your new piercing with a sterile saline solution. Steri-Wash is the brand we have available for purchase in studio but you can purchase a similar product in most stores labeled as “wound wash”. Just be sure to check the ingredients to ensure it only contains water and 0.9% sodium chloride (NaCl)
You should never use products such as hydrogen peroxide, alcohol or neosporin on your piercing!

KIDS PIERCING 5+
We offer kids ear piercing for ages 5 and up! All piercings are done with single-use needles, never a piercing gun.
PIERCING PRICES
Check out our base pricing at the link below. Base pricing includes the standard implant grade titanium or niobium jewelry. We have listed beside each piercing what type of jewelry is included as well as the minimum age. We have a large selection of jewelry outside of the standard and can let you know the price of specific jewelry when you come in!
E-GIFT CARDS
